I finished up a commission for some friends of mine. I’ve made ties for this family before but hadn’t made the girls anything. So I thought I’d make them a matching set. After all the family that cosplays together, stays together.
After hitting Spoonflower I choose a slightly more feminine Doctor Who related fabric than I had for the previous ties.
The father prefers a diamond shaped bow-tie with a wider shaped bow.For the son I matched his father’s tastes but made it adjustable with a rear clip so he does not have to tie his own and it can grow with him. Mum’s hair bow is elasticised as I did not have her head measurement. I have a large head so I made it tight on me so it should fit well. The daughter’s bow is just like mum’s and is elasticised to hopefully grow with her so she can wear it for a little while yet.
I made two of the child’s bowties, so I have a spare that will be listed for sale shortly.
